Attacchi di panico

There's something reminiscent of teenage movies in this, where the characters race thru the nite streets on an old scooter, with a whole life they don't yet know behind them. A little smoke, a little panic, a little faith that love can be a cure-all. The world is falling apart, but there's a bass thumping inside, and for some reason, it's calming. It feels like the universe winked: yes, it will hurt, yes, you will get lost, yes, you will pretend everything is under control again - but deep beneath your skin, magic is pulsing. The kind that happens when two lost people find each other in the dark and suddenly realize: sometimes even panic can be a way to breathe.
