Sometimes the road home stretches not in kilometers, but in years. It seems like everything is there - success, noise, lights, even applause - but inside, it still feels like someone forgot to turn on the light in the hallway. Every turn seems familiar, but none of them lead to where you are waiting. Where it smells like dinner and safety.

There is something painfully human about this - looking for a way out of your own glamour, just to return to where you can be tired and real. To understand that “moving forward” doesn't always mean moving in the right direction. Sometimes salvation is a step back, to where you left a piece of yourself and forgot to pick it up.

And you want only one thing: for someone to leave the light on. Just in case you do manage to find your way back.
