The city is pulsing, like a heart on fast forward: the streetlights are blinking like warning signals, the nite is draping itself over your shoulders like a thick fabric, and the air is bitter with the taste of "the last cigaret before dawn." Calmness is chasing on my heels, but it's always just a little bit late - either the sneakers aren't right, or the world and hope have different routes. And yet, in this run, there's a persistent order: the streets - home, the darkness - the survival trainer, luck - the capricious intern.
