AIRPLANES

Sometimes the sky is the only thing that needs no explanation. You can just sit in an old, smoke-filled car, look up, and feel the remnants of dreams rustling in your head, like change in your pocket after a bad day. The world presses down again with bills, debts, nerves - but inside, there's still a kid who believes that one day these “airplanes in the night sky” will really become shooting stars.

There is no glamour here - only the smell of cheap tobacco, the cold from the steering wheel, and brotherly loyalty stronger than any oath. The dirt of the streets does not erase honor, it just makes it less photogenic. Sometimes you have to choose: sleep or chase after what others already have. But when, after a night shift, a Rolex rings instead of an alarm clock, it seems that life has winked at you after all. Tiredly, but affectionately in its own way.
