Overbooking

It's like a long text message conversation where irritation and tenderness are intertwined to the point of indistinguishability. On the one hand, there is a hero tired of overload, and on the other, a girl who is both poison and antidote at the same time. They are drawn to each other not because it is “right,” but as a habit that is difficult to give up, even if you know it won't get any easier.

The text smells of cigarette smoke, nighttime shop windows, and overflowing calendars: meetings are canceled, emotions are postponed, but jealousy and confessions manage to seep into every line. The funny and sad irony is that despite all this fatigue and toxicity, there is also sympathy, attraction, and a kind of small world of their own, held together by prohibitions, “don't touch” signs, and expensive shoes.
