A breakup experienced without drama is almost like a big clean-up. Everything unnecessary has been thrown away, photos have been kept as souvenirs, and only a faint scent of the past lingers in the air. Once there was “us,” but now it's just a grammatical form - beautiful, but long since obsolete.

There is no drama here, only a weary “oh well.” A little irony, a little sadness, like after a movie where the ending is predictable, but it's still a shame that it's over. In the end, there is a feeling of strange calm - as if you finally remembered who you are without this “us.”
