Magic

It sounds as if ordinary fatigue has decided to dress up in glitter and go to a disco. The song is full of light - sometimes “daylight,” sometimes “eternal twilight” - and the mood swings between them: sometimes you want to hide under a blanket, sometimes you want to dance so hard that all the masks are wiped from your face.

The lyrics seem to joke with pain: instead of dramatic philosophy, there is a toy sword and a rainbow dragon; instead of melancholy, there is a suggestion to simply “have fun with magic.” The result is a mix of self-irony and fragile hope, where even the most bitter thought is accompanied by the chorus “いいよ, everything will be fine.” And you really believe that if the world is not perfect, then at least you can make it shine to the beat of the music.
