Pixels

A song is like a portal to that game you used to play “for five minutes” and then came back to a few years later, more mature. Only now, instead of pixels, there is reflection; instead of bugs, there are memories; and instead of the end of a level, there is the realization that “it was all real.” There is no clear boundary between the world on the screen and the one in your heart. Because in both cases, there were friends, chats until dawn, dragons (of various shapes), and the feeling that together, anything was possible. Even flying, if you got up enough speed. The track is like a reminder: growing up isn't a reset. It's an upgrade. And your saves are still here somewhere, in your memory. Or in your playlist.
