She spun webs of ash

For flame-ridden flies left to catch

And though it burns her, she don't look back

You won't see it at all

A corner of familiar withdrawal

Although it seems so, it's not your fault

Stone-cold silken petals

Drape down beneath your bones

And as they scatter amongst the ashes

It starts to glow

I wonder if you've taken them down
