Description
When love turns into a battlefield, even victories sound like defeats. Everything seemed to be going according to plan: promises, mountains they were ready to move, and the familiar phrase "we'll get thru this." And then silence, like after fireworks, only instead of glitter, ash falls. The room seemed to expand, but the light became dimmer, and the air now smells of regret, mixed with the remnants of pride. The music seems to exhale along with the voice: tired, but honest. In every word, there's a lingering taste of those arguments where no one won. It's only maturity that comes not with age, but with the realization that you can't go back, even if you really want to. And all the watches on your wrist are useless when the time in which "we" was lost is gone.
