Description
When the lights go out and only breathing remains in the room, the music seems to draw closer and whispers the truth that people usually turn away from. The voice is neither accusatory nor pleading, just a statement of fact: everything is falling apart. Not loudly, not tragically, predictably, like an autumn leaf that held onto a branch for too long. The sound is hollow, heavy, like footsteps on wet earth. It contains both fear and a strange submission, a mixture where you no longer resist, but you also don't completely give up. You just watch as the world, confident in its right, slowly pulls you down. And yet, there's a certain beauty in this fall. The one who makes darkness soft and defeat almost a cleansing. When falling turns out to be the only way to finally stop running.

Oh, Father, tell me
Do we get what we deserve?
Oh, we get what we deserve
And way down we go, go, go, go, go
Way down we go, go, go, go, go
Say way down we go
Way down we go
Oh, you let your feet run wild
Time has come as we all fall, go down
Yeah, but for the fall, ooh, my
Do you dare to look him right in the eyes? Yeah
Oh, 'cause they will run you down, down 'til the dark
Yes and they will run you down, down 'til you fall
And they will run you down, down to your core
Yeah, so you can't crawl no more
And way down we go, go, go, go
Oh, way down we go
Say way down we go, ooh
Oh, 'cause they will run you down, down to your core
Oh, way down we go
Oh, baby, yeah
Oh, baby, ah-ha
Baby, ooh
Way down we go
Yeah! No, oh, no
Way down we go, go, go, go, go
Oh, way down we go
Say way down we go, ooh
Way down we go
