He knows how to make a grand entrance and exit as if it were also a number in his show. And then only thoughts remain in the shower and an ironic "it happens." A girl from a respectable home pretends it doesn't hurt, even tho her pulse suggests otherwise. However, falling into clichés isn't her style. It's better to be alone with self-respect than to love an exotic exhibit that begs for applause. The melody laughs, winks, and still aches. Because it happens, even to the best and the most cautious. And then the phrase just repeats: "it happens."
