It seems the universe itself is holding its breath - stars are falling one after another, and every wish still sounds the same: "come back." The sky is empty, but my heart isn't. It continues to argue with reason, as if it hadn't heard the news about the breakup. The wind brings scraps of old promises, and even the silence knows by heart the name they dare not speak aloud. Tears become the night's only companion, and there would be enough of them to ignite new stars. All that's left is the habit of waiting, as if the magic of return depends on patience. There's something almost beautiful about this sadness: the soft light of the lantern, the smell of rain, and the hope that stubbornly refuses to give up, even tho it should have fallen asleep long ago.
