Sometimes love is like bad Wi-Fi: it seems like you're getting a signal, but you can't connect. The heart is sure that the right frequency is somewhere nearby, but in reality, it's just static and echoes from its own hopes. Everything seems to be there - warmth, light, images - but you can't touch it. Just dreaming, foolishly and stubbornly, until common sense turns off the sound and says, "Enough." And the melody about the one who is "between being and not being" is still playing in my head. And even if you've decided to let go a thousand times, it all repeats again - like a stuck record where sadness sounds especially beautiful.
