Sticky air, neon light, bodies in motion - and somewhere between the bass and the heat, the boundary between reality and illusion suddenly dissolves. Everything around you seems to become equally important and completely insignificant. The world shrinks to a pulse, to a rhythm, to a word repeated so many times that it loses its meaning and becomes just a sound. "Heat" sounds like instructions for oblivion: melt away, don't think, feel. And as your heart pounds in time with the music, it seems like happiness really can be dispensed in pills - but the morning, as always, will demand a reckoning.
