Silence in a room is louder than any argument. They lie side by side - almost touching, but as if thru glass. It's still the same faces, the same bed, but the air is different - clear, cold, like the morning after a thunderstorm. Once, every word was a spark, but now even a flicker is rare, and the heart is learning to accept silence instead of confessions. Love doesn't fall apart all at once - it just slowly dissolves until what remains of "we" are two people politely sharing a blanket.
