Bile Bile

Bitterness isn't vented here - it settles. Somewhere between a gulp and an exhale, between "stay" and "let go." The words sound as if they are spoken thru a tired smile: the very one that appears when you no longer expect salvation, but still ask for it just in case. The music is unhurried - as if deliberately giving you time to feel the weight of your own shoulders. Everything is slow, viscous, like the nite after the last argument: it seems like everything has been decided, but the door is somehow still not closed.
