Noise, light, heat, and someone shouted "DJ, louder!" - and it seemed like everything became easier all at once. The world was stuck somewhere between the bass pulse and the smell of overheated bodies, but no one was in the mood for philosophy. The dance floor is like a collective confession, only instead of words, there are movements and "body body body" until you're breathless. You don't need to pretend to be smart, in love, or responsible here. It's simple enough to move – as long as your back is wet, your eyes are shining, and your thoughts are dissolving into the rhythm. In moments like these, even the biggest "nsogbu" - meaning problems - seem like a silly joke. After all, if everything is going to hell anyway, at least let it be to a good beat.
