Relationships are like old film: you watch it, and the faces seem familiar, the intonations are familiar, but the frames are cracked, the colors have faded, and it feels like it all happened with someone else. It used to be hot, almost indecently so - and now cold water and attempts to remember how the hot water was even turned on. Everything here is imbued with a light self-irony and sea salt - as if feelings haven't died, but are simply stuck somewhere between the decks while the ship called "us" drifts in the fog. And it seems scary, but how beautiful this storm sounds.
