April was still kind of pretty.

May was the start of the end.

Looking back felt kind of stupid.

Did I let you go or did you let me?

Grew up with fairy tales, boy was it harder. Happy endings guaranteed.

Never thought that my day would come to realize that some things won't end well.

'Cause when the sun is on top of our heads, we won't think of what's coming ahead.

All we know is that nothing can ever get between us.

But when the sun is settling down, you know what else decides to show?

What's right, the truth.

But I'm still crossing my fingers though hoping is useless.

'Cause when we look up, there's an orange sky looking back at us.

We were never enough.

When I look up, I see bittersweet, I see memories, I see what we could have been.

But at least we're looking, still looking forward, looking up to the same orange sky.
