Description

Sometimes life is like a party no one wanted to go to, but everyone came anyway - with broken glasses, red eyes, and a "well, at least we'll fall beautifully" philosophy. Everything is honest here: the fatigue from oneself, from other people's opinions, from attempts to improve that end in a new catastrophe and a new song. The world is burning, my nose is bleeding, and a strange calm suddenly comes over me - because, when you think about it, everyone ends up the same way. So why not raise a glass to all your failures and dance until the lights go out?

Lyrics and translation

Original

On the bright side, we all die one day, so I'm gettin' fucked up tonight

Wanna toast to the bad times, because the good ones are less likely

Today I went online, apparently a lot of people don't like me

There's no cell phones in rehab

And that's where I'm goin', so come find me

(Okay) I got possessed and created a mess

(Okay) I got regrets that I'm tryna forget

(Okay) I'm taking uppers just to even me out

(Okay) I just got a nosebleed on the couch

I tried to quit it (yeah, yeah, yeah)

But I didn't (yeah, yeah, yeah)

Thought I was finished (yeah, yeah, yeah)

I'm still living (yeah, yeah, yeah)

On the bright side, we all die one day, so I'm gettin' fucked up tonight

Let's toast to the bad times, because the good ones are less likely

Today I went online, apparently a lot of people don't like me

There's no cell phones in rehab

And that's where I'm goin', so come find me

(Okay) we had sex on the hotel steps

(Okay) I took a line that I drew on the desk

My girl found out and kicked me out of the house

I can't kick the habit, I want more of it now

I tried to quit it (yeah, yeah, yeah)

But I didn't (yeah, yeah, yeah)

Thought I was finished (yeah, yeah, yeah)

I'm still living (yeah, yeah, yeah)

On the bright side, we all die one day, so I'm gettin' fucked up tonight

Let's toast to the bad times, because the good ones are less likely

Today I went online, apparently a lot of people don't like me

There's no cell phones in rehab

And that's where I'm goin', so come find me

All my outfits are stained in red

Take your pain, hurt myself instead

All my outfits are stained in red

Take your pain, hurt myself instead

On the bright side, we all die one day, so I'm gettin' fucked up tonight

Wanna toast to the bad times, because the good ones are less likely

Today I went online, apparently a lot of people don't like me

There's no cell phones in rehab

And that's where I'm goin', so come find me
