Track cover Gravity

Description

A storm inside, neatly packaged in lines - anger like gravity, which doesn't argue, but simply pulls everything down. It feels like it's not about forgiveness at all, but about an unfinished task: the mission hangs over your shoulders, and every step is calculated. The princess here isn't a fairy tale archetype, but a reason for calculation - an ironically sweet reason to finally restore balance to the world. It sounds cold and diary-like in its honesty: there are no dramatic monologs, just a measured assessment of the situation - clouds are gathering, there's no one left to save, and the heart sinks like an object under the weight of facts. In this fall, there is also something liberating: revenge is like order, and even if a trail of blood remains at the end, clarity also remains.

Lyrics and translation

Original

Does no one know who they're dealing with? Think I'll let it go, forget and forgive.

-The rage in me- -Yeah.

--is terminal. -Yeah.

-There's no remedy- -Yeah.

-but to burn 'em all. I still got a job to do, my mission's incomplete.

Only a traitor could consider making peace.

The princess has to pay for what she did that day, for what she took away.

Storm's coming, I can see the clouds. No running's gonna save you now.

And hard rain is gonna fall down like gravity, like gravity.

Eye for an eye says you owe me a debt. Blood demands blood, gonna get my hands wet.

The flood's coming, now you can bet on tragedy, like gravity.

You think you're Hell's great savior. Will you still when I return the favor?

Take the one you need, make you watch them bleed.

Feel your heart sinking, how you couldn't save her.

Wishing you were there when they needed you, the only soul who's ever completed you.

Maybe then you'll get a little heated too, and understand why this is what I need to do. Storm's coming, I can see the clouds.

-Somebody tell me that- -No running's gonna save you now.

And hard rain is gonna fall down like gravity, like gravity.

Eye for an eye says -you owe me a debt. -Yeah.

Blood demands blood, gonna get your hands wet.

The flood's coming, now you can bet on tragedy, like gravity.
