It's as if the evening itself switched to slow motion. The air is thick, like before a rain, but without any anxiety - the world has just decided to pause for a moment and watch how beautifully two people can be silent. This isn't about passion or loud promises - everything is quiet, simple, and therefore almost sacred. It's funny, but even time seems reluctant to interfere. It sits down beside me, legs dangling, and listens: how laughter becomes breathing, and breathing a habit of being together. And if one day goes by without that warmth, without a familiar voice on the other end of the line - everything seems to be in place, but it's just not the same. The world is the same, but without the glint on the water, without the smell after the rain. And then again - a simple smile, a light laugh, and everything is whole again. It's as if life is just a moment in which someone is too beautiful for words.
