My pulse is steady, my thoughts are racing, coffee isn't helping, but somewhere inside, I still feel confident: everything is under control. Almost. Somewhere between "just a second" and "I'll be ready in a moment," this strange feeling is born - when your focus slips away, but stubbornness won't let you let go.
