Description
There are songs that sound like memories of something that still hurts, but no longer breaks your heart. This one is like breathing after a long dive. When you finally surface, cough, gasp for air - and suddenly realize you're alive. Everything swirls in it: longing, hope, and a slightly weary “hang in there.” Like a carousel, where it's scary and fun at the same time, and the world around you is just blurry lights.
Every line seems to be imbued with the feeling that pain is no longer the enemy, but simply part of the journey. When your chest is tightened not by despair, but by the memory that even darkness is temporary. The main thing is not to let go. And to keep holding on until it gets easier.

Sunday, only one day to rest. Made it fun day.
I spent it crying in bed under the duvet.
Dishes and hoodies scattered like my head.
Someday,
I'll come off of my meds.
It gets ugly on the days I forget who I'm becoming when I'm unloving of me and my meds.
They say that sometimes you gotta drown to get a breathe.
When life got you down on a merry-go-round, as you're spinning and spiraling.
Keep on holding, keep on holding on.
Aching your heart, see no light in the dark, but I swear it'll turn your way.
Keep on going, keep on holding till the merry go 'round.
Doctor, how much longer 'til death?
Smoking chimneys, ease the pain in my chest.
What's the reason the voices screaming, "You're just better off dead"?
Someday, I'll be closer to God, but today,
I'll give it one more shot. I don't believe it.
One day I'll see it at last.
Oh, they say that sometimes you gotta drown to get a breathe.
When life got you down on a merry-go-round, as you're spinning and spiraling.
Keep on holding, keep on holding on.
Aching your heart, see no light in the dark, but I swear it'll turn your way.
Keep on going, keep on holding till the merry go 'round.
