Some streets have a special kind of silence - not the kind of silence you find in cities, but the kind you find in people. The kind that rings out on holiday evenings, when everyone is going somewhere and someone stays behind. When garlands twinkle in the windows and an old man, who has long since lost his reason to hurry, clears the snow under the streetlights.

These sounds are not sad, but reminiscent. It is as if the city itself remembers those who once ran through these same streets, laughed, loved, and lived. And now it simply walks slowly, carefully, so as not to slip on its past. Everything is calm, everything is accepted - even the cold.
