Description
Sometimes you have to fall face down in the mud to finally see the sky. This song is not about repentance, but about awakening after a long sleep, where everything seemed right until it started to hurt. There is bitterness from one's own stupidity and a strange relief that pain is still a sign of life. It sounds like a conversation with oneself, where instead of accusations there is recognition: yes, I screwed up, but now at least I know who is in front of me in the mirror. And, perhaps for the first time in a long time, I don't want to hide this face, but simply accept it.
