Description
Sometimes fears are not about death or pain, but about the possibility that no one around you has been honest, and the earth really is flat. Or that sleep will turn out to be more comfortable than life. Or that someone will suddenly call for help, and you won't be able to save them. Such is the gentle paranoia of a person who is too sensitive to themselves and too clear-headed about how the world works.
The music flows unhurriedly, as if holding the hand of someone who is afraid to let go of control. Somewhere between a smirk and a confession, there is a confident tone: “No one understands, but they don't need to.” This is not loneliness, but almost a dance with oneself - a little crazy, a little proud, but absolutely honest.

Original
I've got a funny fear of flying
It's not the height or the chance of maybe dying
It's finding out the earth was flat and everybody here was lying
Mm, I've got a funny fear of crying
It's not the shame or the pain that keeps me smiling
It's the thought of never stopping and the chance of maybe drowning
No one understands me, but I do
No one understands me, but I do
I've got a funny little fear of sleeping
It's not the fact my heart may stop, or I forget the art of breathing
I'm afraid I'll start believing that my life is a little better when I'm dreaming
I've got a funny little fear of driving
It's not the notion I might crash in a head-on collision
It's that sometimes I worry somebody's gonna need a superhero, and I'll fail the mission
No one understands me, but I do
Nobody understands me, but I do
Ooh, nobody understands me, but I do, I do, I do
No one understands me, but I do
I don't need your love to be free
I don't need your company to believe
I don't need your love to be true
I'll dance with my solitude, ooh
No one understands me, but I do (but I do)
No one understands me, but I do (but I do)
They say I'm crazy, maybe they're right (oh)
No one understands me, but I do (but I do)
No one understands me, ooh (nobody)
No one understands me, ooh (nobody)
Nobody understands me, but I do
Nobody understands me
Could you, could you, could you, could you?
