Description
There is a type of person who only matures on the outside. Inside, they are still full of energy, fun, and the sacred belief that everything can still be turned around. They laugh loudly, drink beautifully, promise to live forever - and for some reason almost always end the conversation with the phrase, “Come on, everything's under control.” Only control has long since been replaced by autopilot, and the wings that grew from another full cup no longer beat toward the sky, but toward the wall.
And yet there is something touching about them: in this desperate belief that the party can be prolonged. A drunken Peter Pan who didn't notice how he lost Neverland. A sad song about how endless youth is a myth, and running away from pain doesn't save you, it just makes the circles shorter.
