Description
Sometimes life turns into a railroad junction - the rails sparkle, the switches click, and you stand on the platform watching two trains rush in the same direction. One is the past, the other is what seemed right today. And somewhere between them is the woman who, for some reason, decided not to choose. Everything seems simple, but the heart is not a dispatcher: the schedule of feelings is always disrupted there. So all that remains is to wave goodbye and hope that your train will still go down the open track.

Two trains
In 1966, I found my love
In 1967, I had it all there was
And as my time went by I was satisfied
'Til that situation, it took me by surprise
And now there's two trains runnin' on that line
One train's me, and the other's a friend of mine
Don't you know it would be alright, it'd be just fine
If the woman took one train, and left the other behind
Yeah, yeah, yeah, illusion, it is just the same
Conclusion, I don't know how to play the game
Or what it is or how it's gonna be
When one train is my friend and the other train is me
Easy (ooh), now I say easy (ooh)
I can't push or shove her, no, so I guess I really care (ooh)
I'm not one to hide my love behind a lock and key
But if things keep goin' the way they are, there ain't no place left for me
And now there's two trains runnin' on that line
One train's me, and the other's a friend of mine
Don't you know it would be alright, it'd be just fine
If the woman took one train, and left the other behind
Well, there's two trains (two trains)
In 1966, I found my love
(Two trains) yeah, two trains are runnin' now (two trains), come down that line
(Two trains) one train is my friend and the other train is me now baby
(Two trains) whoa, yeah-yeah
(Two trains)
