Description
A half-asleep state between quarrel and reconciliation. When the resentment has already faded, but tenderness has not yet decided to return. The words sound as if they are coming from under water - lazy, a little disjointed, like thoughts after a long conversation “about nothing, but about everything.” It seems that no one owes anyone anything, but you still want to be right - just so you don't feel superfluous. There is no pathos in these sounds, only weary honesty: yes, we are letting go, but we are still holding hands - out of inertia, out of habit, out of love.
