It's as if cigarette smoke knows more than we would like it to. Every drag is an admission of guilt, every tear is a receipt for feelings that are past their sell-by date. When everything has already been said, but inside the old movie continues to play - with the same actors, the same mistakes. Only now the heart plays the role of a stone: it doesn't feel, it doesn't beat loudly, it just lies there, tired.

And yet, somewhere there, under a thick layer of ashes and regrets, there lives a strange belief that love has not ended, but has simply taken a break. Maybe God didn't give a second chance because the first one was enough. Or maybe because some stories are meant to remain in smoke, otherwise all their beauty will be lost.
