Description
Sleep on the edge of morning light is that moment when your heart has not yet decided whether to wake up or stay warm in someone else's arms. Everything around you is slightly slowed down, like frames shot through candle smoke. There is no conversation here - words only get in the way when breathing becomes the only language. The world outside the window seems to be spinning, but inside, everything seems to be asking: just a little longer, don't let go. There is a tenderness that is like medicine - it doesn't cure, but it takes away the pain so that you believe you can live as long as someone is holding you.

Lyrics and translation
Original
Better sin on your lips, you're an angel
Let me in, light me up like a candle
No, I don't wanna talk
So put away your thoughts
I know you're wide awake
And I'm still yours to take
Before the moment fades
Come to me, I'm in the darkness
Half asleep in your apartment
Baby, please take me before we drift away
Come to me, I'll kiss the daylight
On your face, no time for goodbyes
Baby, please take me before we drift away
All the hurt, all the pain, it's a cruel world
Heaven is never far when I'm lying in your arms
No, I don't wanna talk
So put away your thoughts
I know you're wide awake
And I'm still yours to take
Before the moment fades
Come to me, I'm in the darkness
Half asleep in your apartment
Baby, please take me before we drift away
Come to me, I'll kiss the daylight
On your face, no time for goodbyes
Baby, please take me before we drift away
I'm yours, yours for the taking
Before the moment is fading
Don't stop, don't keep me waiting
I'm yours, baby, just take me
Come to me, I'm in the darkness
Half asleep in your apartment
Baby, please take me before we drift away
(Before I drift away)
Come to me, I'll kiss the daylight
On your face, no time for goodbyes
Baby, please take me before we drift away
