Description
The stage turns into an arsenal of words: the microphone is not just a tool, but a disguised baton that is more convenient for unlocking the doors of success than explaining one's feelings. Each phrase is a short throw; bragging sounds like a business report, and threats sound like an advertisement for a premium service: “the issue is being resolved - and everything will no longer be the same.” The vocals are cold and confidently smiling, as if the obligatory drama has been tinted with a filter of sarcasm.
Behind this bravado, there is a pragmatic warmth - not for the sake of blood, but for the sake of a chair, a bank account, and peace of mind for relatives: three generations who can now breathe a sigh of relief. What is more important is not so much the scene as how noise turns into daily bread - and in the end, all claims of “inferiority” are echoed, stuffed into a pocket. A little irony for those who still argue about genres: you can call it whatever you want, but this “crime” has its own payment plan and its own crown.

Original
I thought you might've called
Midnight delusion strikes again
I thought that the palm of my hand
Was where you'd lay to rest
But I only see our side
What happens when I'm out of town?
When I'm not around?
I'm the other woman
That's my ego bruised
And the blames on you
Your kind words and your
Cruel hands, they
Take the floor for a
Slow dance, stepping
Back and forth, spinning
Through the hallways
Eradicate the
Word friend you
Touch my thigh, hold my hand and say you're glad that we met
Take my hand one last time
Just while we slow dance
Blunt force to my chest
Scissors to the ribbon and you flaunt her now
Crowd goes wild and you call her your girlfriend
Like I'm six feet underground
So what's your objective?
To put me in my place?
To find pleasure in my pain?
Lost your inhibitions
For a moment there
Centre stage in my nightmares
Your kind words and your
Cruel hands, they
Take the floor for a
Slow dance, stepping
Back and forth, spinning
Through the hallways
Eradicate the
Word friend you
Touch my thigh, hold my hand and say you're glad that we met
Take my hand one last time
Just while we slow dance
I'll draw the line upon the ground
And make you swear you understand
You'll test the waters every day
Ensure my paint washes away
I'll stand my ground
A lonely soldier shaking in her armour's weight
You'll wield your sword like I'm just prey
Until we're words on my notepad page
Your kind words and your
Cruel hands, they
Take the floor for a
Slow dance, stepping
Back and forth, spinning
Through the hallways
Eradicate the
Word friend you
Touch my thigh, hold my hand and say you're glad that we met
Take my hand one last time
Just while we slow dance
