Sometimes everything seems quite logical - no promises were made, no one owes anyone anything. They went their separate ways, like two TV series with different seasons. But somehow, inside, it still hurts. My memory replays stories where someone else is there - the same angle, but not the same gaze. And it seems funny - to be jealous of something that was never yours - but it still hurts, as if you've lost something real. On the outside, there's light laughter and confidence that “everything is fine.” But underneath the surface, there's an echo of someone else's kisses that stubbornly refuses to fade away.
