Description
Sometimes the house sounds louder than the street. Each wall seems to hold the echoes of old conversations, the smell of holidays, and a hint of guilt for everything left unsaid. Where once there was laughter, now there are whispers - not frightening, but simply too familiar. They remind us that we should not live among memories, but among toasts, even if they are awkward.
Celebrating here is like an attempt to reconcile with the past, with the very air, with oneself. The dice have been cast, the table is set, and even if the joy sounds a little false, it still sounds. Because sometimes the only way to survive after all the mistakes is to turn on the light again and say, “Well, we're alive. And we're even celebrating.”
