Complicated

Complicated relationships are like tangled headphones: you just wanted to listen to music, but you end up spending forty minutes figuring out which end belongs to whom. Here, too, it all started easily - a couple of evenings, a little wine, a couple of “we're just friends.” And then suddenly it turned out that the friendship could no longer be repaired, because someone said too much, someone came to the wrong place, and the air between them became thick, like after a storm.

This track has the feeling of an awkward morning silence, when both have already understood everything, but pretend that everything can be returned “as it was.” Only it won't work. Too much reality slipped between “let's not complicate things” and “let's stay friends.” And now each verse is like a step back through the shards, where it still hurts, but how beautifully it rings.
