Description
When love turns into a side job as a psychotherapist, and your partner becomes an endless rescue project, something inside starts to crack. It feels as if your heart is awarding a diploma in emotional care for adult babies, and then abruptly quitting without working out the notice period. This is that feeling when you are tired of being someone's savior, but the habit of covering up the bad spots is still stronger than self-preservation.
The sound is reminiscent of late at night, where instead of sleep, there is an endless phone call with a person who is unwell but does not want to change. The pulse beats in time with the phrase “you can't save him,” and somewhere between these words comes a calm, slightly bitter realization: sometimes love means letting go and never picking up again.

Lyrics and translation
Original
I don't wanna be your mom
But you're not strong enough
The world isn't shaking like you are
There's a trap door in my arms
Let me over
Let me cover the bad parts
You love me and you push me away
You had a lot of sex and rage
I can't push you
Oh well you're not gonna save him
Not gonna save him save him save him
Oh well you're not gonna save him
Not gonna save him save him save him
I don't wanna be your mom
But you're not strong enough
The world isn't aching as you are
There's a trap door in my arms
Let me over
Let me cover the bad parts
Oh well you're not gonna save him
Not gonna save him save him save him
Oh well you're not gonna save him
Not gonna save him save him save him
On and on a late night call
I could never be your mom
No you know you do it to yourself
Living off alcohol and I could never be your mom
No you know you do it to yourself
And you're not listening at all
I gave it my all
I gave it my all at all you do it to yourself
All at all at all
I gave it my all at all at all
I gave it my all at all you do it to yourself
All at all at all
I gave it my all at all at all
I gave it my all at all
You do it to yourself
