Description
When love turns into a side job as a psychotherapist, and your partner becomes an endless rescue project, something inside starts to crack. It feels as if your heart is awarding a diploma in emotional care for adult babies, and then abruptly quitting without working out the notice period. This is that feeling when you are tired of being someone's savior, but the habit of covering up the bad spots is still stronger than self-preservation.
The sound is reminiscent of late at night, where instead of sleep, there is an endless phone call with a person who is unwell but does not want to change. The pulse beats in time with the phrase “you can't save him,” and somewhere between these words comes a calm, slightly bitter realization: sometimes love means letting go and never picking up again.
