Description
A hoarse, rowdy anthem about how the streets forge character and make a person “rebellious.” There is no self-pity or proud bravado here - only the weary honesty of someone who has seen too much to be naive and experienced too much to pretend to be happy. The rhythm seems to walk along the asphalt, kicking empty bottles, rustling a jacket against the walls. Each verse contains the chipped philosophy of the courtyards, where words are more valuable than paper, and honor is the last currency. And despite the harshness of this voice, there is a strange freedom to be heard: to live on the edge, to go your own way, even if that path is crooked, but your own.
