Description
The sun rose, but it didn't bring any warmth. The air crackled with the coolness of the morning, and inside it felt like an icy corridor - long, empty, and echoing. It seemed like there were promises, vows, those very words that usually serve as a foundation. But they scattered like dry leaves, and now only my own footsteps can be heard in the silence.
It's strange how you can miss someone more and more, even when it seemed like there was nowhere else to go. Memories cling on, like old photos on the walls, and yet it is clear: the moment has been missed, there is no turning back. Flowers in the house wither beautifully, but they wither inevitably. Here too, beauty and pain go together like two inseparable companions.
And the sun will still rise. Even when it seems like it's shining for someone else.

I woke up this morning and knew something wasn't right
I could tell by the way we didn't sleep well last night
The air is so cold, and the sun began to rise
All I wanted was a moment, but the moment flew by
That's when you, you closed your eyes
That's when I, I had to say goodbye
Promises, promises, I'm done with all of it
In solitude where I walk alone
The heart of it's ominous, clear-cut, and prominent
I miss you more than I did before
In our struggle, will you find the best in me
In spite of everything?
Sooner or later, enough is enough
Like a house full of flowers, we all wilt and dry up
The air is still cold, and the sun will always rise
All I wanted was a moment, but the moment flew by
That's when you, you closed your eyes
That's when I, I had to say goodbye
Promises, promises, I'm done with all of it
In solitude where I walk alone
The heart of it's ominous, clear-cut, and prominent
I miss you more than I did before
In our struggle, will you find the best in me
In spite of everything?
Promises, promises, I'm done with all of it
In solitude where I walk alone
The heart of it's ominous, clear-cut, and prominent
I miss you more than I did before
In our struggle, will you find the best in me
In spite of everything?
Promises, promises, I'm done with all of it
I miss you more than I did before
But you'll never know
You'll never know (in our struggle, will you find the best in me)
(In spite of everything?)
