Tall Kids

It smells like a child's dream, naive and stubborn, the one where you want to be among the “tall” and important, even if you haven't grown up yet. It seems as if the world is constantly measuring everything with a ruler, and inside you are bursting with the desire to prove that magic exists, but no one has noticed it yet.

The music sounds like a mixture of shame and delight: sometimes it's funny because of your own fantasies, sometimes it's upsetting because reality is not at all superheroic. And yet, these lines still insistently say, “Look at me.” Like a child wearing a cardboard crown who seriously believes that the clouds are holding him in their arms. And that is precisely where the honesty and poignancy that cannot be ignored lie.
