La Belette

Here, an old song has turned into a wild party: instead of a pastoral choir, there's a bass; instead of meadows, there's a dance floor; and the “horse” isn't trotting through the grass, but dancing to the beat. Everything seems to be soaked in rum, and each chorus hits harder than any glass.

The irony is that beneath the playful rhymes about horses and wolves lies a true anthem to eternal celebration. Time passes, winter comes, legs grow tired, but someone will still be “remettre la basse” until morning. It sounds like proof that fun is a stubborn thing: it will always find its rhythm, even in old legends and forgotten fairy tales.
