Gimme More

From the very first seconds, the air becomes crowded, like on a packed dance floor, where every gaze is fixed on a single figure in the center. Cameras flash like endless lightning bolts, but the atmosphere itself is not a thunderstorm, but rather a feverish carnival where music is more important than the rules of decorum.

Seduction, audacity, and a slight defiance are mixed in the rhythm in such a way that it is impossible to stop: the more, the better; the louder, the stronger the pull toward the epicenter of this neon vortex. The words sound not like a request, but like the law of the evening: if you dance, then dance until you lose track of time; if you want something, then want it without measure.

The irony is that behind all the glitz and endless “gimme more” lies a simple truth: sometimes you need to surrender to the moment, allow yourself to be the center of the universe for at least three and a half minutes.
