Description
The sarcasm here pours down like rain in the verse about “walking alone in the rain.” The ironic “WTF is that” comes together in the chorus like a nervous laugh, behind which concern is actually hidden. After all, they'll tell you about the algae on your teeth and lead you away from the puddle, but they'll still let you go where you want to go - even if it's that very honey bucket.
There is no moral with an admonishing finger in this text. It's more like the teasing of a friend who first laughs at your stupidity and then lends a hand when you stumble. And that's why the words sound warmer than any confession. Between OMG, LOL, and the eternal “you're not listening anyway,” a simple truth can be heard: closeness is when you can endlessly argue about someone's strange decisions, but never stop being there for them.
