Description
It's as if somewhere in the darkness, the screen of an old phone is lit up, and fingers mindlessly scroll through messages, unable to bring themselves to delete them. The sounds are nervous, slightly breaking off, as if the voice is trembling and trying to sound calm. There is a lot of fatigue here: from one's own mistakes, from the eternal “I knew it” and from attempts to stay steady when you are already falling.
But along with this, there is a strange, fragile courage to say out loud what is usually hidden behind memes and jokes. To admit to dependence, to jealousy, to the fact that “yes, I'm hurting, and yes, I need you.” This directness sounds like a challenge to oneself: let the voice tremble, let the tears fall on the floor, but at least it's honest. The music bursts in and beats like a heart that seems to have grown accustomed to pain, but still hasn't given up.
