Description
Midnight walks through unfamiliar streets always end the same way - old stories replay in my head. It seems like I'm driving a rusty Cadillac with a martini in my hand and a group of random passengers, but in reality, I'm captive to a single thought: someone never called back.
The city flashes with lights, palm trees stretch into the darkness, and a cigarette burns down in my fingers - and suddenly the past becomes closer than the present night. It seems like he wanted adventure, but he ended up in the same old trap: longing is stronger than any change. And even if dawn finds him asleep in the seat, it won't be the end of the story, just another turn in the road, where memory always cuts ahead.

Siempre quise ir a L.A
Dejar un día esta ciudad
Cruzar el mar en tu compañía
Pero ya hace tiempo que me has dejado
Y probablemente me habrás olvidado
Me he quedado solo, fumando un cigarro
Quizás he pensado, nostalgia de ti
Y desde esta curva donde estoy parado
Me he sorprendido mirando a tu barrio
Me han atrapado luces de ciudad
El amanecer me sorprenderá
Dormido, borracho, en el Cadillac
Junto a las palmeras, cruce solitario
Y no estás tú (nena)
¡Nena!
Y no estás tú
Nena, no estás tú
Oh, no estás tú
Oh, nena, no estás tú
Oh, nena, nena
Nena, no estás tú
Nunca estás tú
Y no estás tú
Nunca estás tú
Y nunca, y nunca, y nunca y nunca
Nena (y nunca, y nunca, y nunca y nunca)
Y nunca, y nunca, y nunca y nunca
Nena (y nunca, y nunca, y nunca)
Nena, nunca, nunca estás tú

I always wanted to go to L.A.
Leave this city one day
Cross the sea in your company
But it's been a while since you left me
And you've probably forgotten me
I don't know what adventures I will have without you
And now I'm sitting here
In an old Cadillac, second hand
Next to the Merbeyé, at my feet my city
And a moment ago he left me
Here on the slope of Tibidabo
The last blonde who came to try the back seat
Maybe the martini has made me remember
Baby, why didn't you call back?
I thought I could just forget you
And even at times, you see
And when the blonde left I felt strange
I'm left alone, smoking a cigarette
Maybe I've thought, nostalgia for you
And from this bend where I'm standing
I have surprised myself looking at your neighborhood
City lights have caught me
The dawn will surprise me
Asleep, drunk, in the Cadillac
Next to the palm trees, lonely crossing
And you are not there (baby)
And people say that now you are formal
And here I am drunk in the Cadillac
Under the palm trees, I cross alone and you are not there (baby)
The dawn will surprise me
Asleep, drunk, in the Cadillac (you're not there)
Under the palm trees, I cross alone and you are not there
And people say that now you are formal
And here I am drunk in the Cadillac
Under the palm trees, I cross alone and you are not there (baby!)
Baby!
and you are not there
Baby, it's not you
Oh, there you are
Oh baby, it's not you
Oh baby, baby
Baby, it's not you
You are never there
and you are not there
You are never there
And never, and never, and never and never
Baby (and never, and never, and never and never)
And never, and never, and never and never
Baby (and never, and never, and never)
Baby, there's never, never you
