Tamte szare oczy

Gray might not be a color, but a state of being. When words stop sounding, the air between two people becomes thicker than concrete. You get stuck in it, like in a fog, it seems close, but it's like you're on opposite sides of glass. And even breathing has to be done carefully so as not to disturb the delicate balance. In moments like these, you especially crave to plant something living, to cling to a stem so you don't drown in the emptiness. After all, maybe greenery will sprout thru this silence, creating a small corner where you can breathe again. And it doesn't matter that the storm is still ahead; the main thing is that there will be a place where you can wait it out.
