Description
A letter that remained without an envelope. With a date written in the corner of a notebook and melancholy creeping in with the evening silence. Each word sounds as if it were dictated by an empty room - the very one where a noisy company once gathered, and now only echoes respond to other people's memories.
There is tenderness and slight awkwardness in these lines: suddenly the addressee has long been in another life, with children, new habits, and morning breakfasts, while the author still holds an old cassette from the nineties in his hands. And yet the letter stubbornly goes forward, not asking for a reply, but secretly hoping for a line in response - even if it's just an emoji or a fragment of a phrase.
Memories of the night at the “cabaña del turmo” sound like a refrain, like a password in a forgotten club: once everyone laughed together, but now the laughter seems to have been replaced by silence. And all that remains is to admit: people change. But how sweet it is sometimes to find an old melody, to feel again those who were “before.”

Hola Chata, ¿cómo estás?
¿Te sorprende que te escriba?
Tanto tiempo, es normal
Pues es que estaba aquí solo
Me había puesto a recordar
Si te mola, me contestas
Espero que mis palabras
Desordenen tu conciencia

Hello Chata, how are you?
Are you surprised that I write to you?
So long, it's normal
Well, I was here alone
I had started to remember
melancholy came over me
And I had to talk to you
Do you remember that night in the Turmo cabin?
The laughs we used to make all together
Today there is almost no one left of those from before
And those that exist have changed
They have changed, yes
But well, how are you?, say
The same thing even you have kids
How are you doing with that guy?
I hope it's fun
Me, the truth, as always
I'm still working on the same thing
Music doesn't tire me
But I find myself empty
Do you remember that night in the Turmo cabin?
The laughs we used to make all together
Today there is almost no one left of those from before
And those that exist have changed
They have changed, uh
Well, I'm saying goodbye now.
If you like it, answer me
I hope my words
Disorder your conscience
Well nothing girl, what I said
See you soon, if we see you
I continue with my songs
And you continue with your dreams
Do you remember that night in the Turmo cabin?
The laughs we used to make all together
Today there is almost no one left of those from before
And those that exist have changed
They have changed, yes
