Marigolds

A bittersweet confession, in which regret beats in time with every chord. Here are photographs that do not save you from emptiness, and a smell that can still knock the ground from under your feet, and that very phrase that you never managed to say in time.

The music sounds like a diary opened to a page marked “too late,” but you still need to reread it - to remember how love can burn and how it drags behind it the shadow of an unspoken “I love you.”
